The Snowbowl Arcade is a dedicated game space—not a console tucked into a living room. It features 2 full-size stand-up arcade cabinets offering two very different gaming experiences.
One is loaded with 600+ vintage arcade games for classic old-school fun. The second is a premium JAMMA multi-game system with 12,000+ games, advanced graphics and sound, plus arcade pistols for shooting games and immersive 3D play.
Prefer unplugged competition? You'll also find 30+ board and card games for family game nights.
DINE...OR PLAY
Our dining room seats up to 12, with additional seating for 4 at the bar. The full-size JOOLA dining table is also perfect for buffet-style meals—and it has a second personality. When dinner is over, it converts into a full-size ping-pong table, turning family meals into tournaments and friendly competition. Custom paddle artwork adds to the fun.

The Wolf Hideout is a tiny secret space filled with vintage-inspired details, old maps, keys, coins, lanterns and a guest journal for those curious enough to discover it.

Five traditional bedrooms plus a private flex sleeping room give families, couples and multigenerational groups plenty of flexibility.
The connected downstairs suite flows directly from the Snowbowl Arcade, so it remains part of the home while giving grandparents, another couple or anyone wanting a little extra privacy their own retreat.
It includes the Wolf Den Suite with ensuite bath, Ponderosa living area/private flex sleeping room, kitchenette and workspace with monitor and printer.
The kitchenette includes a full-size refrigerator, microwave and coffee setup. That second refrigerator is especially useful for drinks, overflow groceries and all the extras that come with feeding a large group.
MADE FOR A FULL HOUSE
Wolf Retreat isn't simply capable of sleeping a large group—it was designed to make staying together more comfortable.
Two washer/dryer sets mean less waiting on laundry. Two full-size refrigerators provide room for everyone's food and drinks. Three separate heating & AC zones help different areas of the home stay comfortable.
Four bathrooms help keep mornings moving, while multiple gathering spaces give everyone somewhere to go when they want a little breathing room.
Traveling with a little one? A Pack ’n Play is provided. Guests wanting additional baby equipment such as a full-size crib, high chair or toys can also arrange rentals through local baby-equipment providers.
OUTDOOR LIVING
Enjoy 4 outdoor patio areas with seating for the group, 2 outdoor dining areas, 2 grills, fire-pit seating and a private hot tub for cool Flagstaff evenings.
Approved dogs get some thoughtful amenities of their own: a fully fenced backyard, separately fenced back patio with a designated potty area and a large doggy door.
Parking is available for approximately 7–8 vehicles, including a 2-car garage, and an EV charger is available for guests traveling electric.
Whether you're here for skiing, hiking, NAU, fall colors or a cool summer escape, Wolf Retreat gives you plenty to explore outside—and plenty of reasons to stay home.

Rates & Availability
Cancellation Policy: One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 14 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 14 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued. Grace period with free cancellation (no cancellation fees or partial refunds possible) for 24 hours after booking if arrival is at least 48 hours away at time of booking.
Rates include up to 10 guests. Additional guests are $35 per person, per night for guests 11–17. Cleaning, damage protection, pet fees (if applicable), taxes and other applicable charges are additional. Rates and minimum stays may vary for holidays, special events and peak periods.
About the Owner
We’re Maryann and Ralph Wolf, the owners behind Wolf Retreats. What started with one vacation home has grown—somewhat unexpectedly!—into a collection of four distinctive Arizona properties that we personally own and operate. We didn’t originally set out to build a vacation rental business. Along the way, we discovered that we genuinely enjoy creating homes where people can gather, relax and make memories. Maryann brings a background in healthcare technology and a love of design, details and the guest experience, while Ralph is the hands-on half of the team, helping manage, maintain and continually improve our properties. One home led to another as we learned what guests value and kept asking ourselves, “What could we do to make this even better?” Our collection grew to include our Tempe home, two Scottsdale homes—Cottage Oasis and Pool House—and most recently, our mountain retreat in Flagstaff. Together, they became Wolf Retreats. Each home has its own personality and experience. We don’t believe in creating cookie-cutter vacation rentals. Instead, we work to make each property fit its setting while providing the comfort, thoughtful amenities and little extras we would want when traveling ourselves. Double Retreat came about in a particularly unusual way: Cottage Oasis and Pool House are located in Scottsdale, directly across the street from one another. Offering them together allows larger families and groups to vacation together while still enjoying the space and privacy of two complete homes. Although our portfolio has grown, our approach hasn’t changed. These aren’t anonymous properties managed from afar. We remain personally involved in our homes and are always adding, improving and fine-tuning.
